All eyes are set on the big game between the New England patriots and the New York giants in Arizona. The patriots will take on the giants in the finale after having won in the conference championships. The patriots surged ahead with their winning streak by defeating the San Diego chargers 21-12. The giants won against the green bay packers 23-20 to reach the finale. The New England patriots have 14 points over the New York giants for the super bowl that is to be held on Feb. 3. The New England patriots are 18-0. This is so far the best record in the history of NLF. This is the fourth time that the team has reached the Super Bowl in the last seven years. The patriots have previously won titles in the years 2002, 2004 and 2005.

This has been a perfect season for the Patriots. They have made some of the most spectacular off-season moves which have catapulted them to an enviable position. The many players that they have acquired over the season have contributed to the success of the team. Adalius Thomas, Wes Welker, Tom Brady and Randy Moss have been some of the important additions to the team. The team has gradually inched its way to become a favorite in the Super Bowl.

The New York Giants had a game with New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII pits two big-market teams against each other. Some sports books thought the Indianapolis Colts vs. Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI would crack $100 million last year. Caesars and the Hilton installed the Patriots as 14-point favorites as soon as Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes drilled his game-winning field goal.

LaDainian Tomlinson  said that his left knee injury won’t keep him out of this weekend’s conference championship game against the New England Patriots. Tomlinson missed the second half of the Chargers’ 28-24 He talked about questionable for the American Football Conference title game in San Diego’s official injury report. Plus Tomlinson was replaced by Michael Turner during the second half of yesterday’s win.

The New England Patriots ran over their competition to  become the first NFL team to produce a 16-0 regular season. They may have the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars literally run over them in  divisional playoff game.The patriots showed vulnerability to top backs despite its regular-season perfection .

The New England Patriots took advantage of their bye week. An 18-point lead to the Steelers, Jacksonville rebounded to defeat Pittsburgh 31-29. They go  to Foxborough to battle the undefeated Patriots in the divisional round of the playoffs

Bill Belichik, the coach of the Patriots, after a series of misfortunes and fines, has finally managed to lead the team to the first 16-0 regular season in NFL history. Bill Belichick won USA TODAY’s 2007 NFL Coach of the Year Award. As we said, the honor was followed after a series of misfortunes, to be exact, after a tumultuous campaign that started with major discipline for the Patriots coach after the NFL discovered the team illegally recording signals given by New York Jets coaches in the season opener. As a result, Belichick was fined $250,000 and the team was fined twice as more and docked a 2008 first-round draft pick. However, the team headed by Belichik, managed to get though, and here comes the deserved award.

The Patriots are in fact the first team to go 16-0. This was one of their best seasons. They really made the most and best off-season moves. The reason of their great success is connected with a series of important acquisitions that the team made during the season. They acquired Randy Moss, Wes Welker and Adalius Thomas, plus worked out a deal with Asante Samuel. Of course, they also had Tom Brady. Very soon this football team gained a well-deserved fame of a Super Bowl favorite.
