No intention to hide anything, says Belichick

Bill Belichick, the New England Patriots coach, in a television interview said that he was wrong about the rules of NFL regarding prohibition of filming the opponent signals and added that there was no intention to hide what they were doing. But, this statement was not accepted by Roger Goodell, the NFL commissioner, and he fined the coach for $ 500,000 and $ 250,000 for Patriots and the draft picks of first- round. Belichick said that the former video assistant Matt Walsh was to blame for the activity. Walsh said that he was coached to avoid NFL rules and was instructed by team officials about the ways to avoid exposure.
