The New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Walker will receive the Pop Warner Youth Inspiration Award for the year 2008 at the 48th annual All American Scholar Banquet in Coronado Springs resort in Disney coming Saturday night. The award is presented by the largest youth football and cheerleading organization named Pop Warner Little Scholars and Welker will receive the award for the outstanding season he had with  the Patriots and for his on going and dedicated policy of working with  the youth. The “83 Foundation” that was started by Wes Walker is doing yeomen service to the underprivileged children of Oklahoma City by providing a cordial environment to play football.
