Are the Patriots all Charged up?

The Patriots will be playing the San Diego Chargers this upcoming Sunday, Oct. 12th. The Chargers stand at a two wins and three losses compared to the Patriot’s three wins and one loss. Though records are good, they fall short for intimidation. Plus the Patriots have to improve their defense; right now it’s mediocre at best. The Chargers will nonetheless have trouble trying to make long passes, so they will probably be sticking to the run plays.

Pats doing great!

The New England Patriots are doing great. Having just come off bye week, the team is playing well. The Pats had a wonderful game against the San Francisco 49ers. The Pats won with a 30 to 21 victory. The Patriots will have to continue winning to secure the AFC. The season is still young and it is too early to tell how tings will shape up, but getting wins is a good way to play it safe.

Back on the Field

The New England Patriot will be playing against San Francisco 49ers this Sunday. This will be the fourth time that the two teams will play one another. More interestingly, this will be the first time since the two teams have seen each other on the same football field since 1995. The Patriots are also coming off a bye week. Maybe the extra week off helped the Patriots strength their game play and gave its player enough rest to make Sunday’s game a fun one to watch.

Time to review

With no game scheduled, the Patriots will be taking the time to practice and reevaluate their progress. In addition, what this extra time does is give the coaching staff more time to prepare for up coming games. This extra week should be beneficial for the Patriots on several levels. for instance,  this also allows players to not only rest, but to also gain more practice time. Both are essential to performing well when it comes to game day.

Taking the Retirement Sideline

After spending his countless Sundays playing football, Troy Brown will now be able to relax and watch the game. Troy Brown is retiring from football and the New England Patriots. Brown is 37 years old and his body cannot take the grueling pounding it once used to. Brown is walking away with a club record of 557 catches. Brown is also saying that that game of football will never truly leave him. He’ll still be part of the team, just from the fan and former player side.

Niners and the Patriots

This Sunday the New England Patriots will be facing off against the San Francisco 49ers. This game is looking to be a promising one when it comes to action. Last Sunday the Patriots were not able to hold their ground and let a game go. But this Sunday comes another chance for the Patriots to show their fans their winning ability. The 49ers have an aggressive lineup for Sunday’s game, but the Patriots should come out on top.

New England Patriots not overly concerned by poor exhibition games

The New England Patriots played poorly on offence in their first exhibition game. The offence and defence were shaky in the second game. It’s only the pre-season, so there are no signs of panic in their locker-room, even with Tom Brady limited by a foot injury. Last season the team went on for a splendid 18-0 streak before loosing in the superbowl. Defensive tackle Jarvis Green believes that initials hiccups are part of the game and help in improving the shortcomings in the future. Patriots have lost both their pre-season games to Tampa Bay and Baltimore. Of course, coach Bill Belichick hasn’t installed sophisticated game plans and has taken long looks at youngsters and other players trying to make the team.
